The camera then immediately chooses one of eight possible modes, to ensure perfect settings for your shot: Landscape, Night scene, Night Portrait, Sunset, Macro, Portrait, Backlight, and Backlight Portrait.

The C1250 is especially adept at photos of people, drawing on advanced technology to automatically track faces, capture smiles, detect blinks, and beautify skin tones. The Smile Catch & Blink Detector functions help to capture the perfect spontaneous smile by automatically shooting in rapid succession – ideal for candid moments. The Blink Detector alerts you when a subject has blinked, allowing the shot to be retaken immediately or saved according to your preference. Moreover, “Beauty Enhancer” is a pre-processing feature, which beautifies your subject’s skin tone, getting rid of unwanted blemishes.
